Early in 2015 I made the spur of the moment decision I was going somewhere before summer to take some pictures for myself. I looked through the list of places I had written down and started searching where everything was located geographically. Turns out two of the places I had in mind were within (almost) walking distance of each other. Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon in northeast Arizona. So just like my Big Bend trip a couple of years ago I called a photographer friend, this time it was Al Powers who lives in Las Vegas, flew out to meet him and we made a small road trip to Page, Arizona.
We spent 4 days in the Navajo Nation exploring Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and even got to hike slot canyons in the area with a 600 foot drop point of entry/exit before the hike even begins. The pictures below are the ones I’m the most proud of and will be hanging in my house. The behind the scenes will be posted on my facebook fan page, or you can look through both our pictures here on Instagram.
